I need some digital help.

So I have a Samsung Digimax A7. It's 7.0 Megapixels, 15x zoom,
but it has a hard time focusing on things.

I don't know if it's something that I'm doing, or the camera.
Pointers ?

The pictures aren't sharp. Is that just the camera quality ?
Any help is very very much appreciated.
